THE NATURAL HISTORY MUSEUM and the LA BREA TAR PITS

THE MAJESTIC DOWNTOWN
The Majestic Downtown is an iconic event venue that is recognized as being a historical masterpiece in DTLA since 1924. With a combined 30,000+ square feet and stunning historically preserved ambiance, The Majestic is the perfect backdrop for any occasion. 30 foot high Italian ceilings, arched windows, sculpted marble columns and original marble floors lend a rich historical beauty to any event.

HD Buttercup Venues caters to burgeoning event needs by offering an extensive portfolio of locations available for a wide range of innovative and inspired projects to find their home. FOWLER MUSEUM at UCLA
Located on the campus of UCLA, the Fowler Museum has several options for events. The UCLA Art Council Amphitheater, which accommodates parties of 200 to 400 people, is perfect for a reception before a lecture, film or video show in the adjacent state-of-the-art Auditorium (capacity 326). Upstairs, the outdoor Fowler Museum Terrace offers picturesque arches and a spectacular view of the campus and accommodates 200 guests. The Smog Shoppe is one of Los Angeles hottest venues. Called the “greenest urban oasis”, this vehicle smog check center from the 1980’s is located in the heart of Los Angeles on La Cienega Blvd. Entirely solar energy powered it has received the Environmental Design (LEED) Platinum Certification. Featuring environmentally sustainable desert plants, décor and furniture, the unique venue can accommodate 175 to 250 people.
MILLWICK
Millwick has reinvented itself as a unique stand alone, super-loft open to private events, outdoor wedding ceremonies and receptions, exhibitions and productions.
